Chicken Saag

Chicken cooked with a variety of local greens (saag).

Ingredients

  • Chicken: 500g
  • Mixed Greens (Saag): 1 large bunch (mustard, spinach, etc.)
  • Onion: 1, chopped
  • Tomato: 1, chopped
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Salt and spices: to taste

Instructions

    Wash and blanch the greens, then make a coarse paste.

    In a pan, sauté onion, ginger-garlic, and tomato.

    Add the chicken and spices, and cook until half done.

    Add the green paste and cook until the chicken is tender and flavors have blended.
