- Mutton: 1kg
- Mustard Oil: 1 cup
- Onions: 500g, sliced
- Garlic Paste: 2 tbsp
- Ginger Paste: 2 tbsp
- Whole Red Chilies: 5-6
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder: 2 tsp
- Salt: to taste
Instructions

Combine mutton with all other ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Transfer the marinated mixture to a traditional earthen pot (Ahuna or Handi).

Seal the lid of the pot with wheat dough to trap the steam.

Cook on low flame for about 2 hours, shaking the pot every 20-30 minutes.
