Chicken cooked with a unique masala made from roasted gram flour (sattu).

Ingredients

  • Chicken: 500g
  • Sattu: 2 tbsp
  • Onion: 2, chopped
  • Tomato: 1, chopped
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1.5 tbsp
  • Standard spice powders: as needed
  • Oil: 3 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions

    Prepare a basic chicken curry by frying onions, ginger-garlic, tomatoes, and spices.

    Add chicken and cook until almost done.

    In a small bowl, make a slurry of sattu with a little water.

    Add the sattu slurry to the chicken curry. This will thicken the gravy and add a nutty flavor.
