Mutton Liver Fry

A quick and spicy stir-fry made with mutton liver.

Ingredients

  • Mutton Liver: 250g, cleaned and cubed
  • Onion: 1 large, finely chopped
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder: 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions

    Blanch the liver cubes in hot water for 2 minutes and drain. This removes the strong smell.

    Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and fry until golden.

    Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

    Add the liver pieces and fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes.

    Add all the spice powders and salt.

    Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Do not overcook, as the liver will become tough.

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
