Chicken cooked in a thick, traditional horse gram lentil soup (ulavacharu).
Ingredients
- Chicken: 500g, boneless
- Ulavacharu (Horse gram soup): 2 cups, ready-made or homemade
- Onion: 1, chopped
- Green Chilies: 2, slit
- Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
- Ghee or Oil: 2 tbsp
- Fresh Cream: 2 tbsp
- Salt: to taste
Instructions

Cut chicken into small pieces and marinate with salt, turmeric, and ginger-garlic paste.

Heat ghee/oil in a pan. Sauté onions until translucent.

Add the marinated chicken and cook until it is sealed.
