A spicy, deep-fried chicken dish originating from Chennai, adapted with Andhra flavors.
Ingredients
- Chicken: 500g, boneless cubes
- Yogurt: 2 tbsp
- Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder: 2 tsp
- Corn Flour: 2 tbsp
- Rice Flour: 1 tbsp
- Egg: 1, white part
- For Tempering:: Oil, curry leaves, green chilies, yogurt sauce
- Oil: for deep frying

Marinate chicken cubes with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, corn flour, rice flour, egg white, and salt.

Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.

Deep fry the chicken pieces until golden and crisp. Set aside.

In another pan, heat a little oil. Sauté curry leaves and slit green chilies.

Add a little whisked yogurt mixed with red chili paste. Sauté quickly.

Toss the fried chicken pieces in this tempering.

Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges.
