Natu Mutton Fry

A simple and spicy country-style mutton fry.

Ingredients

  • Country Mutton: 500g, small pieces
  • Onions: 3, sliced
  • Green Chilies: 5-6, slit
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1.5 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder: 2 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder: 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Oil: 4 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions

    Pressure cook the country mutton with salt and turmeric until tender.

    Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and fry until they are deep brown and crispy.

    Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.

    Add the cooked mutton pieces.

    Add red chili powder and black pepper powder. Mix well.

    Fry on medium-high heat, stirring continuously, until the mutton is well-roasted and coated with the masala.
