Safed Maas (White Chicken Curry)

The chicken version of the royal white meat curry, mild and creamy.

Ingredients

  • Chicken: 1 kg
  • Yogurt: 1 cup
  • Cashew, Almond, and Poppy Seed Paste: 1 cup
  • Onion Paste (boiled): 1/2 cup
  • White Pepper Powder: 1 tsp
  • Ghee: 1/2 cup
  • Fresh Cream: 1/4 cup
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions

    Marinate chicken in yogurt and salt.

    Heat ghee, sauté boiled onion paste.

    Add the nut paste and cook for a few minutes.

    Add the marinated chicken and cook until sealed.

    Add water and white pepper, simmer until chicken is tender.

    Finish with fresh cream.
